So after following the steps on the wiki, I got an error when trying to install the older version of samba3:
Error: Target org.macports.activate returned: Image error: Another version of this port (samba3 @3.2.4_0+darwin_9) is already active.
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
I think there might be an error on the wiki line:
sudo port install libsdl libsdl_image libsdl_mixer glew fribidi freetype python24 mysql5 lzo libmad samba3 pcre fontconfig
Isn’t the samba3 package above the new version which plex can’t use? If so it should be removed from that line right?
Anyway, I just managed to uninstall the new, and reinstall the old and I think it’s ok. Someone let me know if that line was wrong so that we can correct it on the wiki.
You are correct, that samba3 needs to be removed from the wiki.
Cool, I just edited it. That should avoid new devs from bumping into trouble (like me :rolleyes: :D)
