Samsung JS900 subtitle problems

Player Version#: 2.006

I am trying to view subtitles on tv series but they seem not working anymore. The same file doesn’t have problems when played on other clients (Fire TV or mobile). Does it seem there is no way to get an updated version of the app on Samsung, any suggestion on how to solve this?
