I’m restarting this thread two years after my last one for the same issue, because no one ever answered and I gave up on it for a time. But it’s still happening now.
For some reason, when I try to watch in-progress MST3k episodes on my Samsung TV (as in, I’ve started watching the episode elsewhere, stopped it, and picked it up on the Samsung), Plex always kicks back to around 2-3 minutes into the episode.
Then, when I skip forward (or backwards), it consistently jumps ahead about 2 minutes. So, if I’m halfway through an episode on my Roku, stop the episode, go to my Samsung TV, it will start at around 2 minutes in. Then, if I try to skip back to where I was, it only goes forward about 2 minutes (and becomes very choppy).
Even if I try to go backwards, it jumps forward about two minutes.
This never happens on my Roku TVs or my computers. My server is upgraded, and I’ve tried clearing the cache and data on the Plex App on the Samsung TV. I’ve also checked for updates on the app and the TV itself. Nothing seems to work.
I’ve also only noticed this on MST3k, not on movies or other shows.
