Seperate Playlist from On Deck

I would like to prevent Playlists from causing watched TV series appearing in the On Deck section.

When watching a playlist of random TV episodes it causes those shows to appear in your On Deck section. Even if the entire series has been marked as watched it will reappear in the On Deck. In order to make the episodes stop appearing in On Deck you have to go in and mark them all watched again. As soon as you watch the playlist again those shows reappear in On Deck. This can cause a lot of confusion in the On Deck section.

To sum it up: Prevent Playlists from modifying On Deck content

I’m not seeing this behavior. I made a playlist with a few episodes from various shows that have already been watched. After playing an episode, nothing shows up in OnDeck. If I stop playback in the middle of an episode, then that episode shows up in OnDeck since it is still in progress. But finishing watching that episode or just marking it as watched does not cause a new entry to show up.

OnDeck should only show in progress episodes or the next unwatched episode so I can’t see how an already watched show is ending up in your OnDeck.

Can you provide specific steps you are using and some screen shots?

I understand what you are saying and it seems that is what I am experiencing. Occasionally the next episode in a series will appear but it may not be the entire series appearing unless it’s considered “unwatched”. But when you have a massive playlist and you end up skipping multiple episodes they will all appear in the On Deck section. It’s just annoying and clutters things up.

I think what I’m looking for is, no episodes appear in On Deck when being played from a Playlist. Unfinished or not. As if those two features are completely unrelated.

Ok. This is not a trivial request, but I see what you want.

Yea, I kind of figured…

It’s just one of those annoyances that would be nice to not have to deal with. I’m sure this varies from person to person. Just figured it couldn’t hurt to bring it up. I’m sure there are far more beneficial features that are easier to add.

Thanks for your time.
