Server empty after library move

Hello.
I’m sorry if this topic was already discussed but I found nothing helping me after searching in the forum.

So I had to upgrade my computer from W8 to W10 without losing my Plex Library. So I’ve followed the process on plex support to move library and backed up the Plex Media Server directory in the §LOCALAPPDATA% folder. Now Plex is reinstalled on W10 and I’ve restored the whole directory but by opening my Plex, my server is there but empty, no library…

Can somebody please help me ?
I have hundreds of movies and tv shows on which I’ve lost hours to set everything up… :frowning:

The instructions also say to copy the registry. Did you do that and restore it too?

If so, are you using the same username as you did on W8? The path to those Plex files is saved in the registry so if the username isn’t the same, the path won’t match and PMS won’t reuse your old files.
