Server freezes / crashes on scans

Hi guys.

I’m having a problem with my plex server, that i sometimes frezes or crashes the entire server, when i’m trying to scan my libary.

I’m using a dedicated server on Hetzner, and plexguide, is the installation method. Looking in portainer, the plex media server comes with this error message upon freezing or crashing:

“Sqlite3: Sleeping for 200ms to retry busy DB”

I have just scanned with the 3rd party plugin “webtools” my TV Shows, which said that most of my TV Shows was found on my disk but not in the libary. But most of them are inside the libary?

Is it possible that my DB have failed in some way, and is it possible to recover from this?

I have uploaded the log files, to my G-Drive, here is the link:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mn7SeGQkp18vaxrTnYaG2Ge9r573fk3C

EDIT: I tried to run the “optimize database” but it finishes within seconds, which is strange with ~30TB libary

Server Version#: 1.13.8.5395

I am looking through the log and do not see any evidence of failures or other errors.

I do see a great deal of normal streaming.

How long ago was this ‘crash’?

Also … Sleeping for 200 ms because the DB is busy is not fatal.

Can you show me what you have which highlights these errors?

Just because you have 30TB of media doesn’t mean the DB is going to take a long time to optimize.
The DB contains a few records for each file. This information is a few KB at best for each media item.

Can’t remember when it last totally crashed.
But everytime i have a scan of my libary it comes with thie sleeping for 200 ms in the portainer log, and the server is unresponsive. Last time was a couple of hours ago.

Also i find it strange the scanning is slow, and not everything is picked up and showed in plex.

And webtools is reporting what looks like almost every TV Show is missing?

Maybe its just me?

I’m sorry. You mean Docker.

Docker is not my area of expertise.

I’ve retagged your thread for the Docker team to find.
