Server unavailable - links to old server

Server Version#: 1.21.0.3608
Serer OS: Fedora

Hi guys,

I’ve just woken up to my Plex server being unavailable.

After further checking, it seems to have re-attached itself to my old server (HDA) instead of the new one (which I’ve had for a long while now) which is HDA+.

I’ve tried logging in via local (192) and via plex.tv, same results.

I’ve tried shutting down plex server, and using plex.tv to remove HDA, but it comes back up once I start my plex server again.

Unsure how to resolve, any help would be great (or even removing HDA from my account fully would be grand).

Thanks for any help!

Edit:

Further information:

Looks like the Plex update has modified the service file and I’ve moved my database to a different drive. I’ve updated the service file and created an override file but still no go.

All resolved.

Looks like override file didn’t do things properly.

Have created a new one by running the following:

sudo systemctl edit plexmediaserver.service

and adding:

Environment=“PLEX_MEDIA_SERVER_APPLICATION_SUPPORT_DIR=/var/hda/files/drives/drive13/plex/Library/Application Support/”

then restarting the service.

Is this mount on a remote system or local?

Environment=“PLEX_MEDIA_SERVER_APPLICATION_SUPPORT_DIR=/var/hda/files/drives/drive13/plex/Library/Application Support/”

All local.

I had moved my library database to a different hard drive. Definitely annoying that the service got recreated, but the overwrite file at least is a workable solution
