There is an older and VERY popular feature request titled “Sync and Share Playlists”. I think most would agree that these are two separate features. Sync of playlists is now part of Plex and is super terrific… (Thank you very very much)

There is some debate in the old thread about starting a new one for just sharing or continuing the old so the number of “likes” is not lost. I think it is super important to let the Dev’s know how many of us are really looking for Playlist Sharing now that Sync is a feature.

With that in mind I am starting this new thread and will link to it in the old post.

Here are my thoughts on sharing of playlists:
It would be a great feature but and I would be satisfied with a simple option on the edit screen that allowed me to select which of my friends/users the list was shared with.

Maybe append that there be a read-only checkbox for the shared lists?

Few seem to have noticed, but Snickers created a separate request for sharing a couple days after adding the Sync and Share request. It already has some votes, so it’s probably best not to split votes by adding another request.
