Show Album Codec Badges why do I see on some file types the bit depth and the frequency and on other file types I don’t? Is this a bug? Or does this have something to do with the encoded meta data? Or is this the way its supposed to be?
It would be nice to see bit depth and frequency for all file types.
For example in my library I show the following information on my file types.
FLAC 44/16
AAC 320
MP3 256
ALAC 44/16
AIFF
For FLAC and ALAC it shows me frequency and bit depth but all other file types it does not. The one that bothers me the most is that my AIFF files do not show frequency or bit depth. The majority of my library is AIFF, it would be nice to see the badging info consistently displayed for each file type. As some of my AIFF files are 48Khz 24bits it would be nice to see that.
Just a cosmetic thing. Other than that. Can’t be happier with this app. Keep up the great work guys.
My server is on Version 1.20.2.3402.
Google Pixel Phone Android 10
Plexamp 3.2.1
To help trouble shoot this I ripped the files off the CD again using XLD. I ripped one track from the album to ALAC, AIFF, MP3, & FLAC and added it to Plex as a new entry.
I used the track Stay Gold and named each file type with its own album name. I had to do this because when all the tracks were in the same album Plexamp only showed me the AIFF file type and not any of the other file types.
See the picture below of the Albums section from Plexamp on my phone. As you can see the FLAC and ALAC show frequency and bit depth but the AIFF does not.
