I don’t want to have to tap on each show to see the details in order to determine it’s a new show, etc.

Isn’t that what you’re asking for here?

Suggestions/notifications for new shows

It would be great if new shows (S1 - E1) were suggested, maybe even with notifications, so we could consider recording new shows when their run first starts.
