Site Configuration supports for Website with embedded flash player iframe

Could someone give me a help on implementing this features.
This feature is told in the official documents “plugin_docs.pdf” of forum along with media_api.pdf and sqlcheatsheet.pdf.
However, the docs is just told it discretely then I have no idea on how to combine xml site configuration with plugin Content Code.
Please give me a help! :slight_smile:

In Plugin development document of plex, The section 4.2 is named Site Configurations:
“A Site Configuration file allows a Flash or Silverlight player to be played within a web browser”.
Site configurations can go one of two places:

  1. (recommended) Inside of your plugin bundle file
    MyPlugin.bundle/Contents/Site Configurations/yourfile.xml
    …
    A sample xml file:

Site configurations are a thing of the past. Don’t bother with them, they’re not supported since Plex Media Server version 0.7 or so.

I think it’s not possible without the video sources.

After looking at the vtv site, i made a little test plugin. It makes an additional step to get a json-file which contains the sources (found out with Chrome-dev-tools).
Unfortunately the videos can not be played until yet (AES - / Auth-problem).
They can be played in my webbrowser - so it migth be not a greater problem.

Perhaps you want it figure out yourself. If not: I’ve got more time tomorrow.

Glad to hear it.
Yesterday I found a way to get the mp4-formats of the vtv-site (see pic and function ShowVideo, steps 1-3).
Would be nice, if you can combine both methods.
