Recently plex on my firetv seems to be very slow. When I scroll to my movies, it doesn’t show all the images quickly anymore, it’s taking 5-10 seconds to load them. I have 1gig connection speed and my NAS is located at my home. I probably need to connect locally to it, but I’ll do that another time once I learn how.
Sometimes when I try to select a movie, i get the screen that says it is having trouble connecting and says “retry”. Are there any suggestions on how to verify the speed or connection to the movie server? Any suggestions on why the retry screen is showing when I can see the movies in my library ?
Lastly, is there a good how to created on how to make the connection local? I assume if I make it local, it will be much faster connection?
