Can we please have smart downloads again? And downloads organization? And smart downloads deletion? And the ability to simply play from the home screen and it playback the downloaded version so we don’t even have to navigate to the buried downloads menu? Please?
This is my biggest issue with the new app. I don’t understand why a paid feature isn’t being restored to how it worked previously. The new downloads offering is significantly worse than the old app.
Both aspects of your suggestion are already addressed in existing suggestion threads. Please comment/vote in those in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion, I’ll therefore close this thread as a duplicate.
If you’re going to close it as a duplicate, please link the original post. I had not seen anyone bring up the issue of downloads navigation. I should be able to enter the app and from the Home Screen resume playback and it chose the local file for playback.
Then let’s either focus this thread on the missing aspect or create a dedicated suggestion for this.
Do you work for plex? Does anyone know if they ever actually plan to return these features? My guess is with the new streaming direction that the answer is no. There are hundreds of us loyal customers that simply want some simple answers but no one ever responds. Oh we got the new lists feature today, great… but I can’t watch it because I’m Offline 90% of the time and the downloads is just broke.

They previously stated that they’re working on bringing those features back. Though, no ETA.
