Was wondering if anyone knew of an easy way to create a playlist that would play S01E01 of one show and play S01E01 of another show, followed by S01E02 of the first show then S01E02 of the second show and so on.
I tried using a smart playlist but the shows I am trying to put into a playlist span many years, so sorting by air date would leave huge blocks of one show. I was hoping for a way to sort by episode number instead.

you can create a smart playlist with a custom filter to include multiple shows. however without the option to sort by “episode”, you cannot have them in a smart playlist sorted as
Show 1, Episode 1
Show 2, Episode 1
Show 1, Episode 2
Show 2, Episode 2
Show 1, ...
your best option would be to manually add both shows to a playlist and drag them in order – not a particularly promising scenario I can imagine.
