Hi everyone,
I’m trying to create a smart playlist for Scottish artists. Using artists country doesn’t work, as Scotland doesn’t appear as a country (despite it being a country!). My files got tagged in iTunes, and I used “grouping” for that information. As an ID3 tag it’s named “Style”.
How can I create that smart playlist using ID3 tags?

You cannot, because Plex doesn’t store the region of an artist, but only its country.
Scotland is indeed a country, just not a sovereign nation 
What about the ID3 tags?
Plex doesn’t read all meta tags. Whatever iTunes did write into your files, Plex is not reading them.

Have you tried multi-select all the artists in question, click edit - tags then change country to ‘Scotland’
To clarify, I mean to do this within plex
