Sonic Adventure: Enter artist name to search for song

Continuing the discussion from Sonic Adventure: when entering the name of an artist not all the songs are appearing:

Looks like this feature request was already submitted, so I’m just going to give a +1 and link the original. OP couldn’t have said it better. I very often know artists, or even albums, faster than I know song names. So maybe during sonic adventure creation, the user can input some characters and, just like regular search, you will see some tracks, some artists, maybe some albums. User can then click an album or artist, browse and select a track which would be added to the sonic adventure.

Thanks, yes, more than 2 years later, soon 3 years i still hope that this seems basic and natural feature will be added.

Wow, I’m disappointed to see that this has been an issue for at least 2.5 years and not fixed. I also posted about it back in May.

Sonic Adventure has a TON of possibility, but it’s currently hamstrung by a less than ideal implementation. SA is one of the top 3 reasons I use Plexamp vs other services like Apple Music. But it’s needlessly limited and frustrating.
