with the redesigned mobile plex app (android & iphone) there were several changes that i wasn’t crazy about, but most i’ve come to accept or workaround. the big one for me that i miss the most is being able to sort libraries ‘by year’ which sorts the titles first by year, then alphabetically. the closest thing to this is by ‘release date’, which is fine but not a substitute. we still have sort ‘by year’ for the other players that i use (roku/windows/web/google tv) - i’d like to start a movement to bring back sort by year - plex, please hear this request.
Not sure if it’s because you’re not on the latest release or because I’m on a beta of that latest release… in version 2025.18.0 the option to sort by year is available (and working as you’re describing it).
