On CarPlay, the sort order of downloads seems based on “Date Added”, is it possible to display the albums listed alphabetically by artist like the app does when the user selects “Group”
Also, is there a way to shuffle among the downloaded music on CarPlay? I want to avoid streaming costs and play only my downloaded music shuffled randomly.

My bad on the shuffle button, it is indeed right there! Doh!
However, I spin and crash most times when I select something from the “Up Next” list once I go there and beginning playing music.
I tried about five times and once today it worked perfectly and I could play songs from that list, but the other times I would get a spinning indicator and then the CarPlay app would crash.
Any ideas?

I see the crash, and worked around it, but it’s still a bit weird. Hopefully addressed in the next release.
When I select a playlist and hit play, and then tap the shuffle button on the screen nothing happens. If I tap the shuffle button in Plexamp on the phone while the song is playing the shuffle button lights up. I can then tap the shuffle button on the screen (which is now lit up) to turn shuffle off, but tapping it again does nothing again.
