Splash screen

I'm looking for a way to have a single splash screen showing up during boot. 

 

So far I managed to change the first screen (OpenELEC) by adding a file called "oemsplash.png" to the /flash/ folder.  (the file is exactly the same as the rasplex splash)

 

Or add "nosplash" to the cmdline.txt to disable the OpenELEC splash screen

And don't forget to add disable_splash=1 in config.txt to get rid of the "rainbow") 

 

Unfortunately,  the fist splash screen disappears too soon and there is a quite long break  (black screen) before the rasplex "loading" screen appears. 

 

 

Anyone knows how to make the fist screen stay on longer so there's no blank screen ? 

 
 
 
Note: you will need to remount flash as read/write (mount -o remount,rw /flash)

Hi Moonshine,

                I want to disable fist screen while running RPi,i have log-in  RPi using SSH.where i haven't found cmdline.txt and config.txt.please help me out.....

If you login via SSH, the files are located under /flash/, or if you plug in the SSH directly into your computer you can find them on the flash drive.
