Apple Vision Pro will replace the Apple TV with its infinite screen size. a native app would be wonderful.
While I would also love a native app for the device, I suspect it’s a long way off. It would be a hard sell to have it replace the AppleTV when you can sit with your family and watch a normal 85" TV playing content from the AppleTV with your entire family. Plus at $3500 a piece, you could buy a hell of a TV/sound system for 7 grand, and that’s before the kids. It’s not going to be a mass market device for a few years.
So yes, the app would be great, but just as with the Quest, it’s still a niche market and I suspect the devs are working on the mass market side of product management.

I’ve seen a similar response in every VR feature request
I don’t think that will change for a device that costs as much as a used Toyota
