This has evidently been an issue and desired feature for at least 7 years and people are still requesting it.
Is support ever going to work on this feature and make Plex UI more user-friendly?

Is that a picture of how you wish it to look? Such an option does not exist for the videos in the Plex Android app. It does exist for the folders, but not the videos. Still need a list option for the videos.

There are Grid and List view modes für video libraries available.
I’m using the Android app and that is a screenshot for both Movies & Folders.
Please describe how to get to that option. I only see it for folders, not movies and episodes. Once the folder is accessed only grid format is available for the shows inside the folder. The only other option is to get a flat list of all episodes. Is there a way to get a list format of the shows and be able to drilldown to a list format of the episodes inside in show?

Correct, but the List format only works for the top level folder, the shows and episodes below that level are in grid format, unless the option is selected to have every video show in a flat list format.
That is not what I’m seeking.
I’m seeking a List of folder, a list of shows within each folder, a list of episodes within each shows.
