First off, I love Plexamp, I’ve been finding things in my collection that I totally forgot I had. However, it’s almost impossible to use in my car without this little song and dance I have to do every time.
- The Play/Pause endless loop – this happens pretty much every time I get in the car and plug in my phone. The player tries to play the last track playing and instead just gives me an endless loop of Play/Pause/Play/Pause without ever actually playing the track. Skipping to the next track or trying to play something else does not change this behavior. My solution to this is unplugging the phone, closing all the apps on my phone, then plugging back in and then it works.
- Artist Radio (best feature in the app) – this just doesn’t work at all from the car’s touch screen. Navigating to the artists’ name and selecting the Artist Radio just gives me a shuffle play of songs by that specific artist and never plays any other artist. Same goes for selecting an Artist Radio from the recently played. However, if I unplug the phone, close apps, plug the phone back in, bypass the car’s screen entirely and select the Artist radio on the phone app, it will play the Artist Radio station as intended.
I have no idea where to even start diagnosing these problems, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
