Stream watched / unwatched

It would be really useful to have streaming services media accessible outside of the Watchlist, so they act in the same way as local Plex Media Server content, creating custom playlists on streaming services, that can be filtered as watched and unwatched etc in the usual way. There are many classic films and series on streaming services that I’ve watched many times but would like to have access to in custom playlists rather than having to search and add to Watchlist every time. That way users would be able to create their own custom playlists / database catalogue of media available on streaming services. This would be a huge but simple development and I’d love to see it some time soon!

I’m not quite sure if I understand what you’re suggesting.

Is this primarily about being able to create some playlists from Discover or how to access / filter a single streaming provider catalog / the entirety of Discover?

Maybe you could elaborate a bit what it is exactly you’d like to achieve with this suggestion and layout the use case a bit further…

Hi, apologies! For example, if I have watched a programme such as Stranger Things on Netflix this would disappear from my watchlist. Is there a way to keep viewed content as you can with local content? Could it be possible to create custom “libraries” of such content across streaming services, of both watched and unwatched. Basically, to do what you can with local content but with content linking to your streaming services. Another example for films, to create a custom playlist of Horror films (and other genres) from streaming services to build a library of watched and unwatched content. Sorry if I’m not describing what I mean very well!
