I run my own plex server, and mostly it’s just for myself and my partner, but I’m the one that’s adding content, an when I come across stuff that’s more her thing I try to remember to tell her, but hey, we all have busy lives, work to many hours, and we forget, and it got me to thinking… maybe it would be a cool idea if you could “suggest” particular shows, or movies etc to friends and family on your plex server?
So it would then just either appear in their watch list, or as a seperate watch list. You could have a “admin suggested” category. Something like the watch together feature, but for people who have different schedules, and maybe just want to say hey check this out, I think you might like this…
Of course it would need to probably cross reference against their existing watch list or items watched already, so maybe a little database work. We don’t want to suggest something X user has already seen . But I thought it might be a cool feature.
