Switch to TV layout not working?

Hi,

I’m trying to set Plex up on a cheap Chinese Android TV box, a Vontar X4. It runs basic Android 11 rather than Android TV, so Plex thinks it’s running on a phone.

I’ve tried changing the setting in Experience to TV, but it’s back to Mobile when the app restarts, and is expecting touch/mouse input.

I’ve cleared all the data, and checked the Files permission in case it couldn’t save a setting or something, but it still goes back to touch input.

Am I missing something?
