Synology DS218+ recorded tv playback buffering constantly

Server Version#: 1.13.5.5332 // 3.57.1
Player Version#: 5.3 (Roku)

Synology DS218+ with HDHomeRun dual tuner. It records shows well. When I play it over WiFi (no wifi problems) on both the roku 3 or Apple TV (1080p, no 4K) it buffers every 5 to 8 seconds, it is unwatchable. In the same run I will play back on an iPad Air 2 and it has no issues.

Any settings on either client device or Synology server I can change to fix this problem?

A search on google didn’t give any real answers about this Synology.

Same issue same set-up and I see Plex is as helpful as usual with the issue.

My apologies. I am not in front of the unit but I did make a change on the unit and the problem stopped.
