Tag "Originally Available" does not work any longer

Hello,
it seems that the latest update of Plex (Windows ) 1.4.3.3433 the tag “Originally Available” does not work any longer like before.

I have many audio-streams (like Bibi&Tina) for my kids. Due the fact that I want to have always the latest stream on top I haved used the tag “Originally Available”. I have tagged with the tool mp3tag all my streams with the tag “Year” i.e. 2016-12-11, 2016-09-21, 2015-07-12, 2015-03-12, etc… The tag “Album” was in this case 085-…, 084-…, 083-…, 082-…, …
This makes sure that the latest streams was alwys on top.

Now, it seems that Plex only use the year 2016, 2015, etc.
Now I see the following order:
084-…, 085-…, 082-…, 083-…

Any hint is welcome.

Hello,
have installed latestd update from yesterday (1.4.4.3495 Windows) and the problem still exists.
Please fix it.

With the older version everything was fine.

Have un-installed the lastest version 1.4.4.3495 and re-installed 1.3.4.3285.
Now the sort order is as usual.

Hopefully the bug will be fixed asap.

BTW: The Plex Web is still 3.1.1 - this was not downgraded.

Have installed newest update 1.5.0.3501 and the problem with the sort-order is still not fix.
This really sucks !

Can someone from the Plex team please answer, why the sort order was changed from YYYY-MM-DD to only YYYY ?

Thanks and regards

It is doing this in Music too. Albums from artists that released more than one album in a year go alphabetical within the year which is usually wrong. I also reverted back to 1.3.4

Agree. Have the same issue with my music folder.
But it seems that development do not care.

Will revert to 1.3.4 again.

Version 1.5.1.3520 does have still the sort order issue.
Any hint is welcome.

And again:
New version 1.5.3.3580-4b377d295 does have still the sort issue.

Any comment or hint from development is appreciated.

Helli,
it seems the Plex development is ignoring this issue.

Can someone please tell me where the sort order is configured, so that I can compare it with 1.3.4.

Thanks and regards

It is a known issue. This is being worked on.

Thanks for the update - really appreciate this short BUT important info !!
