Thoughts about PlexAmp on Android

I did not find the reported issue but I noticed that by opening the app directly from AA (I have a second phone always connected to the HU) it does not appear in the list of apps in background so the behavior may be different when the phone is used standalone but also for use with AA

However, I feel I can trust Plexamp frankly it’s not often the main manager takes care of any issues and that’s a guarantee.

next release will have improved behavior in this area.

Could It be possible to have custom amounts of cache in the future? I’m using It for the fast loads of my slow server and I feel like 16gigs is not enough.

i’m not sure how this relates to this thread, but what sort of limit would you set? bear in mind this only applies to media and not general browsing.

If you would like any help troubleshooting, don’t hesitate to let me know.

I use android auto regularly, and it’s about 90% of my use-case for Plex. I haven’t used it much at all in the past month because of this bug.

3.4.2 Indeed is an improvement in Android Auto - thank you. I did notice a reversion to a blank slate after going through a text message with the Google Assistant, forcing me to go back into the app to find and start music again.

Otherwise, autostarts on launch as expected :+1: :fireworks:

Loving the new Downloaded items view. Makes things so much easier
