I’ve noticed this in several artists. Most recently, searching for Ryuichi Sakamoto, Plexamp shows the artist, but not the album I was looking for, 12. Searching for the first track on the album finds the album, and I can Go To Album, but then the album just shows the loading spinner. I can still Play Next the track. Searching in Tidal’s app shows the album in the Artist library
The generic unsatisfying answer is that Plexamp is using its own search logic that differs from Tidal’s.
