you can rename your files fast and easily by using third party application called: Filebot, it will rename 100s of files in 20 seconds.
when i revert to legacy no files effected even the names not renamed, but i am using this setting inside the server agent setting like photo attached, try to arrange them like how i did inside the photos and hopefully will maintain your files again.
The bad matching only occurs with the legacy selected. I have too many movies to fix embedded titles from my rips. Iâll just have to wait for them to fix the problem. My file structures and naming conventions are fine but your explanation helps me understand what was happening in this instance.
Will filebot rename embedded titles?
It doesnât seem to do that at all with the Plex Movie agent selected (rather than Legacy). Iâve never had an issue with it selecting an embedded title instead of the file/folder name.

filbert reads Movies and TV Shows from IMDB and many more sources, 1 click and it will rename your files like how they must be, for example:
evil.s02e09.720p.web.h264-ggwp
with filebot:
Evil - 2x09 - U Is for U.F.O.
Can you shed a little more light on what the underlying issue was for the trailers to stop playing?
How would a novice user go about refreshing the Metadata?

Iâm having a similar issue, with my MyCloudHome. It wonât play on my TV but will play perfectly on my iPad. Unfortunately, I canât install any version of Plex, I can only use the one WD give me.
Been trying to fix this issue for 2 days. I have all the settings for transcoding disable/or set to not transcode, yet with some movies, it gives me an error saying it canât transcode, and with TV shows it says media unavailable.
@trumpy81 looking at the server log the trailer transcoding problem seems to be more substantial. It looks like the trailers arenât being pulled down thus there is nothing to transcode, to begin with.

Reverting back to the legacy agent fixed it for me.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know how the new agent is supposed to be better than the legacy one?
