TrueHD and DTSHD Master audio issues

For TrueHD:

TrueHD Atmos no longer Direct Plays after 2026.18.1 update – Fire TV Stick 4K Max

Thanks for the report and log files. Plex is aware and investigating. I noticed the same with my FireStick 4K Max Gen 2 earlier this week and sent them client and server log files. The problem appears limited to TrueHD audio. EAC3 Atmos, used by streaming services, works OK. As a workaround, you can enable Force Direct Play in the Plex client. I’m unsure how that might affect other audio formats.
