Two ways to play MQA with plexamp - and a feature request

Hi! Found two different ways to get MQA playing, as long as you have a dac with full MQA support

Using a mac:

Using plex as the player

  1. Run plex desktop
  2. In settings/player choose your dac and exclusive audio
  3. in plexamp cast to plex
    plus: auto switches sample rate
    minus: more moving parts

directly with plexamp

  1. run audio midi setup
  2. Choose 48/32 for your dac
  3. Make sure you have software volume to max and use the flat equaliser

Either Way… enjoy your MQA :grinning:

Now for the feature request… Could you ask the mac audio api to change the sample rate to the track sample rate? This would avoid having to keep audio/midi setup running and changing sample rate manually.
