I have two-factor authentication active on my account but the options are basically limited to an auth app when one dose not want to use questionable third party workarounds the use of a hardware key such as a yubico key is impossible with them getting more prevalent I think it would be a good additional security feature.
Seconded. I would love to see either hardware keys or passkeys implemented into Plex.

Secnd on Yubikey AND enabling adding double hardware keys for backup like most places enabling 2FA
I’ve been using my Yubikey for my Plex account for at least a year.
