Ubuntu server doesn't mount synology shared folder at start-up/boot

Server Version#: 1.20.4.3517
Ubuntu server#: 20.04 LTS
System : Raspberry pi 4

Hi everyone, i’ve a BIG question for you :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve read lot and lot website to auto mount synology shared folder on start-up/boot on my system.

For start, if i mount manualy each folder, all work perfectly, can access to files an read them.
I’ve edited my fstad with all syntax in th web :stuck_out_tongue: Nothing work !
The last try is :
10.10.0.6:/volume1/video /media/NAS nfs rw,noauto,user,nofail 0 0
10.10.0.6:/volume1/music /media/MUSIC nfs rw,noauto,user,nofail 0 0
10.10.0.6:/volume1/photo /media/PHOTOS nfs rw,noauto,user,nofail 0 0

I’ve try with username=user, password=password syntax, nothing too

sudo mount -a doesn’t work too

Each reboot, i need to mount manualy each folder…

Can you try to help me ? someone have an idea ?

It doesn’t mount automatically at boot because you’ve specified noauto

Proper syntax would be of the form:

10.10.0.6:/volume1/video /media/NAS nfs defaults,auto,nofail 0 0

Be advised, mounting in /media is dangerous due to Nautilus claiming exclusive rights for your username and not plex (unless you’ve changed the Plex username)

Hi, thx for help.

I’ve moved all directory in /mnt
I’ve try your solution, but at start-up nothing. No shared folder mounted…
Permissions are ok when i mount manualy shared folder, so it isn’t.

Thx for your back…
