Unable to filter by crew, such as Director of Photography

I’d like to filter by other crew members, especially Director of Photography / Cinematographer (e.g. Mark Lee Ping-Bing, Gu Changwei, Christopher Doyle)

Currently the only way it seems to do this is to find a movie they assisted with, click see more cast / crew, filter crew, click them, edit each entry to add them as a label, filter by the label…

There’s already an existing suggestion discussing for director of photography to be added as a Filteranlage tag.

Add Cinematographer to Movie metatdata tag list

Is it possible to add the Cinematographer/Director of Photography to the the metadata tag list for movies? I would love to search for movies based on this.

The same goes for certain other jobs, like composers.

Additional tags for Smart Collections // mod: filter movies by composer

I am running into some limitations organizing my Movies Library without tags to indicate film composers and cinematographers so that I can use that data in my Smart Collections. My current workaround is to use the Sharing field to put those names in, but that’s not what the Sharing field is for, obviously, and it’s not an elegant workaround. Why not just make a Collection out of those names? Because I need a Smart Collection for everything. For example, I have a JOHN CARPENTER Smart Collection…

Ok closing in favour of Add Cinematographer to Movie metatdata tag list

However my OP was about supporting all crew data, however in practice cinamatographer is the only one I care about.
