Does anyone know what the oldest sever version possible to still play to Chromecast.
I’m running version 1.9.3.4290-9798172d4 because when I’m on the newest version sin about a year and a half Plex Transcoder.exe just crashes my server.
But since some weeks ago stream to Chromecast stopped working. I can only assume it’s because my old server version.
Anyone sitting on inside knowledge?

I.m using Version 1.18.6.2368 with Windows 7
I have a remote user using a Chrome Cast original generation with an iPhone to control it.
The only problem he sees is that it keeps dropping from original quality between movies or episodes to 720… frustration factor of Plex…
I run a Windows Server 2016.
For me it just says “unable to play media” after I’ve pressed the play button in my android app.
It does connect to the Plex app and I do get info up on the TV, just the stream that won’t start.
