Unable to scan HD channels DVR Live TV

Hi this has been a problem since I first setup plex dvr a few years ago.

I am unable to scan UK HD channels ( freeview HD DVB/t2) using plex DVR.

I can scan them if I use tvheadend for example.

This is a plex issue.

I can scan and tune SD channels fine.

I am using a PCI tuner passed through to a plex docker container. Plex sees as the WinTV-quadHD even though it isn’t one of these.

Anyone have any input on to why this is?
