With the last two server updates I am no longer able to select a media type (Movies, Shows etc) from the Live TV DVR guide to search from. I used to be able to select Movies then Channel and see all movies playing on the channel for the length of the guide data and then I could select which movies I wanted to record for the next two weeks (or guide length).
With the latest version I am no longer able to select anything except to see guide data from Today or tomorrow or the next day and I have to see every channel there is. What happened to the filter? It seems we have lost all DVR selection capability other than seeing what is in the guide, finding the show you want by going through all of the channels and then sliding over to the time you want.
This is useless and has made the DVR function pretty much a waste of time… We have gone backwards in functionality.
Unless someone can tell me how to do this under the new interface I’m going back to Windows WMC.
