Unauthorized Access from Unknown Company?

I received an alert on my firewall this morning of a “Potential Corporate Privacy Violation” coming from my Plex server on port 32414 to an IP in Italy for a company called UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions.

Any idea what this is and why it’s communicating with/from my server? Never seen anything like this before.

As an FYI – I’d been meaning to update to the latest Plex version and did so AFTER I saw this.

I would update your server and have a read through this.

In your port forward settings only use TCP not UDP

Thank you! As I said, I updated this morning so hopefully we’re good.

As for the only TCP, this is what Plex recommended. IIRC, the “warning” was not there when I first installed everything. (The site was updated 5 days ago according to Google)

Thanks for the info, though! I’ll test how it works without those and make sure there are no issues.

The warning was there before, just not as explicitly worded, as it is now.
