Update libraries at Windows start-up

Hello.
Is there a way to have Plex update the libraries when Windows starts, either within Plex or via a Windows scheduled task.

I have had a look in Plex server settings but cannot find anything.

Thank you.

This might help you.

And more uses here.

While a windows script would be required for updates on windows restarts, it would be easier to create scheduled update in PLEX. Go to settings, Scheduled Tasks, tick the box “Update all libraries during maintenance”.

Set your maintenance schedule so they update daily regardless of restarts. This should keep you up to date.

True but depending on when the OP starts the computer might cause the update not to occur. And there is always one hour in limbo(23hour MAX).
I quick sure fire way to have plex update on every boot would be a script.

Thank you for the replies.
Yes, I’d like to have the libraries update as soon as this particular PC turns on.

I’ll have a go at the method mentioned in that thread.

Thank you.
