If I remember correctly I was pretty much on your side on that. It IS a bug (or at least a lack of proper design) in that there is no way to have the same effect as the “Plex Dance” happen within Plex.
It is a good subject for discussion.
I wonder: Has Plex ever admitted they made a design mistake?
