Updating Plex

Hi all,

I am trying to update an older version of plex on Ubuntu, but is getting the following error.

PlexMediaServer install: ERROR: Environment variable “PLEX_MEDIA_SERVER_TMPDIR” is no longer allowed in “/etc/default/plexmediaserver”. Please remove.

How do resolve this?

there is no file or folder in the location above to remove…
