The signing key provided at http://downloads.plex.tv/plex-keys/PlexSign.key is signed with the sha-1 algorithm. rhel-9 has deprecated sha-1 signed keys and this results in an rpm error when trying to install the plexmediaserver package on Rocky Linux 9 in particular and all rhel 9 derivitives in general. Casual linux users will have no clue of how to work around the problem. Enhancing RHEL Security: Understanding SHA-1 deprecation on RHEL 9 addresses the problem and offers suggestions how software authors can update their signing key to sha-256. I urge you to upgrade your signing key to use sha-256 if you wish to continue to offer plex media server to rhel based linux users. I note that you have several topics that display this error yet you have yet to fix it!
