I was just thinking about getting home movies and pictures onto my server, and I was thinking that we take most of our video and pictures with our phones, so wouldn't be great if we could upload directly into plex from our phones. This could be implemented as a pick and choose one at a time or something like google + or drop box where they will upload all of your picture and videos. I know that this would be any easy way to share the home videos as well as having a backup of them. I'm not sure who else would be interested in this but just thought I would throw it out there.
Plex have announced the “camera upload” feature will be discontinued.
