Using IPTC or XMP Tags In Images

For several years Plex users have been asking for the ability to use IPTC or XMP Keywords as Plex tags to make it much easier to find and create albums of their images. Might this new app address this need?

A client app doesn’t change what the server needs to do.
In order for support for those tags, the server needs to learn to ingest them first.

Please enable 'Use embedded tags' in Photo libraries

Now that we have an online source for tagging our photos, I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised to find that, like Last.FM and Gracenote, the online source’s accuracy (and therefore usefulness) is, shall we say, less than stellar. Plex’s implementation of the option to use embedded tags in Music libraries has, in my mind, had the greatest impact on the usability of Plex as a whole.
