Using Raspberry Pi with a Netgear Powerlink

I'm having an issue setting up a Raspberry Pi running rasplex in another room of my house.

 

My main rasplex setup works great and is directly connected to my router in the living room. However, when trying to set one up in my bedroom using a Netgear Powerlink from the bedroom to the living room router, it wont connect at all.

 

Bear in mind that I have tested other devices and other media players and they all work fine (WDTV Live, Roku), so I've isolated it to the Pi. I also tried the living room Pi on the bedroom, and took the bedroom one and plugged it into the router with the same results: wont connect from bedroom, but when directly connected to router there's no issue.

 

Any suggestions?

i`m using netgear powerlink with my pi and i works great.

More information on my issue:

Once I disconnected the raspberry pi in the living room and disabled CEC on my TV, it will connect to my network, but will drop the connection after 60-90 seconds.

Any tips or leads in the right direction would be much appreciated!
