Having an issue with VC1 and QSV. PMS chooses to use software instead of hardware to decode the VC1 media. In doing this the transcoding process hangs up and never starts playing the video.
If I use my Nvidia GPU it decodes VC1 just fine and plays smoothly.
My two questions are is this normal behavior to use software to decode VC1? If so what is causing PMS to hang up in decoding using software?
