Yeah there isn’t really a techncical reason I cant do it. I have analyzed many a 4K HDR remux on Gdrive without causing an API ban. Its just more to do with laziness. Generally though the workflow is all new media gets analyzed whilst still on the dedicated servers drives. The media files only get auto uploaded to Gdrive later. Though Plex sees the files wherever they are.
