This is similar to the suggestion of having collections show as a sub section in the movies library but at a higher level.
Background – I currently have 3000 plus movies that are us and English ranging from the 60’s to present day. All my movies are stored in a single folder within a sub fold for each title.
I purpose a new virtual library type that would allow you to define specific search criteria on ‘real’ library and save it as a top leave option.
A real life example would be to show all movies that have the category ‘UK’ added to them. Or all movies who’s release date >2005. Of course criteria could be stacked so you could make a virtual library that contained all UK movies newer the 2005.

You can sort of do that with playlists which you can make from pretty a much anything you can filter on . They already show on the home screen of some of the apps, but being able to add a few specific "favorite" playlist to the Home screen for quick access would be nice ( i think thats what you mean by "top leave option" ).

Yea thats what i mean by them being top leave, they show up on the main side menu as an option and under libraires..
the big difference would be that they would auto update. Ie you add more movies and tag them as "UK" they would automatically show up in the "UK" library.
Shoot i thought i might of had a unique one there.. LOL
playlist are dynamic. if you make a playlist on Filter Studio=Marvel and sort by Release Date, so Iron Man is first, Guardians last.
But you don't have a copy of Thor . When you do get a copy of Thor it will automatically be added to the playlist in the correct Release Date order.
