Vizio firmware update killed Plex video

Ever since the firmware updated today, Plex will only play audio. No video. I have tried several different shows and movies. I have restarted Plex sever, TV, Reset the Plex player, removed the Plex player, reset TV to factory. Plex has been tested on Windows 11 desktop, Android phone and another Vizio tv that is about 10+ years old that has not been updated. All the other devices that I tested with, work as expected. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you resolve it?

We cannot reproduce on the models we have with that firmware. Can you enable logging to server in the app then then reproduce and get the server logs.

I don’t see anything obvious to me in the logs but will make a report.

I did a little more digging. It appears that it is only affects .mkv files. The .mp4 files work just fine.

I turned off direct play and direct stream. Video and sound are now working. This was disabled in the Vizio Plex app.
